Dudleys Aluminium is a specialist architectural aluminium fabrication and installation contractor based in South Wales. We are looking for a practical, reliable person to join our factory team in a varied role covering Health & Safety, Quality, Deliveries, and Production Support. Experience in in a factory or manufacturing environment is what matters. A facade background would be advantageous, however not essential, as we will provide the training. Key to us is attitude: we want someone positive and motivated, with a genuine can-do approach, who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality: Inspect products during production and before dispatch against the drawings and system manufacturers procedures, record/ action findings within our digital QA system.
- Deliveries: Check incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes, report shortages and damages, and prepare outgoing orders for dispatch.
- Health and Safety: Carry out daily workshop tours, report hazards and near misses, implement H&S documentation and carry out regular toolbox talks.
- Production Support: Assist the production manager, coordinate daily workloads and support the manufacturing team on the shop floor.
