Training Course: Geospatial survey technician (level 3)
Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday - Thursday), 08:00 - 16:00 (Friday)

What you’ll do at work:
- Assist survey teams with geospatial surveys
- Set up and operate survey equipment such as total stations, GPS, GNSS, and laser scanners
- Process data using software like AutoCAD
- Support health and safety procedures
- Establish survey controls, set out gridlines, levelling, traversing
- Record survey information accurately
- Attend training courses and complete academic work
Where you’ll work: Training includes time away for specialist training at Dudley College of Technology, plus 20% off-the-job training at work.
Requirements:
- GCSEs including English and Maths (grades 9-4 / A-C).
- Relevant qualifications and experience can be considered for adjustments.
