Job Introduction

Joining a respected team of health and safety professionals, you will provide a comprehensive and valued health and safety advisory service for the Council. You will also provide practical advice for managers, carry out inspections and audits, run training courses, investigate accidents and will assist with the development of health and safety policies and procedures and guidance.

With a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent level 6 qualification) or higher, you will have previous health and safety experience preferably in a multi-disciplinary organisation or similar environment and have excellent communication skills. Experience of construction, maintenance, facilities management and housing environments is of particular interest.

This is an agile working role meaning that you will have a base at one of our office locations within Dudley Borough but will also have the ability to spend part of your week operating from your home base.
