We have an exciting opportunity to join our Halesbury team in a key operational role. This part-time caretaker will support the smooth and efficient running of our school alongside our Site Manager. Halesbury is an all-age (4-19) Special School for pupils with autism and complex communication and cognitive needs, accredited by the National Autistic Society. Mission Statement: "Achieve, Believe and Challenge" – Confidence, pride, high aspirations, and overcoming barriers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning school environment.
- Support daily operational tasks in coordination with the Site Manager.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding and child welfare policies.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Commitment to safeguarding policies and child welfare.
- Medical clearance and enhanced DBS check (Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974).
- Right to work in the UK and ability to provide documentation.
- Compliance with KCSIE online searches as part of the due diligence process.
Salary: £15,794.59 – £17,215.96 per annum, term time only (40 weeks). First year salary reflects the number of working days remaining in the holiday year.
