We are looking to appoint Casual Residential Childcare Workers who will, under the supervision of a senior member of staff, contribute to all aspects of the physical, emotional and personal care of the children/young people residing in Dudley's three residential children's homes, promoting their welfare while working in partnership with their families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical care to children and young people (e.g., feeding, dressing, hygiene)
  • Offer emotional support, creating a safe and nurturing environment
  • Assist with personal development and daily routines
  • Collate and implement care plans in collaboration with senior staff
  • Partner with families and other professionals in care decisions

Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Children’s & Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
  • Experience working with young people is desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
