We are seeking a part‑time highly organised Senior Business Support Officer to join our dedicated SEND Team within Children's Services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting vital statutory processes and ensuring high‑quality services for children, young people and families.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and coordinating day‑to‑day administrative processes across the SEND Team
  • Managing complex diaries, meetings and communications for senior managers
  • Supporting statutory SEND processes, including data returns and reporting
  • Handling enquiries from families, professionals and partner agencies
  • Producing accurate data, reports and performance information
  • Contributing to service planning and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within a public sector or SEND/social care environment
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence working with data systems and producing reports
  • Understanding of confidentiality, accuracy and safeguarding
  • Relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (desired)
