Key Information
- Location: Variable around the Dudley Borough, covering different locations.
- Hours: 18.5 hours per week; shifts Monday to Friday, core business hours 08:30–17:15.
- Salary: Grade 5 – £26,403.00 – £28,142.00 pro rata.
Responsibilities
- Interview customers over telephone, in person or electronically to determine eligibility, establish needs, clarify details and research issues in order to provide solutions, take payments and raise service requests.
- Calculate benefit entitlements and make complex payment arrangements, requiring excellent numerical and communication skills.
- Operate multiple computer systems and maintain strong IT literacy in a fast‑moving environment.
- Adapt quickly between different tasks and respond to regular changes, demonstrating confidence and flexibility under pressure.
- Stay current with regular service, legislative, policy and procedural updates.
Workplace Attendance
Working in the office 3+ days a week (pro‑rata) or onsite full time.
