An opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent Building Surveyor within the Corporate Landlord Services Team. This is a chance to make a difference within the Directorate, providing an effective, efficient, and economic repair & maintenance service to keep the Council’s property portfolio fit for purpose and to protect the value of its property assets.
We are looking for someone with a passion for property management, and the drive to make a real impact. You will join a team of experienced Building Surveyors and will have responsibility for a building portfolio which will include school and educational buildings, leisure centres, family / children’s / youth centres and Council Depots.
Responsibilities:
- Act as project manager/contract administrator for identified planned maintenance schemes and minor work building projects.
- Provide service directorates and local building managers with a professional building surveying service.
- Support the Council’s Repairs & Maintenance Procurement Partnerships and work collaboratively with contractors.
