This is a permanent position at Quarry Bank Primary School, 6.25 hours per week Mon-Friday 7:30am-8:45am, 38 weeks per year. Grade 2 (Actual salary £3,413.58 - £3,490.88 or £12.45 per hour). Start date: September 2025.

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and committed Breakfast Club Assistant to work within our new breakfast club provision.

The Successful Applicant Will:

  • Demonstrate a professional and respectful approach to both children and adults
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interact well with children (playing games, craft ideas, encouraging indoor and outdoor play)
  • Be creative and imaginative (planning activities)
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children you are responsible for or encounter
  • Support and maintain positive links between home and school by making parents feel welcome
  • Support the setting up and clearing away of breakfast club equipment and preparing breakfast
  • Be responsible for ensuring that breakfast club equipment is hygienically maintained
