Counsellor and Mental Health Lead – Term time only

We are looking to recruit a Counsellor and Mental Health Lead who will manage the counselling and wellbeing team and support them to provide a comprehensive service which aims to enable students and staff to realise their personal and academic potential.
This role will lead on mental health and wellbeing across college and oversee the activity of both the counselling and wellbeing team to ensure activities and resources are developed that support the mental health and wellbeing of students and staff.
- Hold a diploma or equivalent in Counselling and either hold or be working towards BACP/UKCP accreditation.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing counselling within a supervised framework.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience leading a team.
- All successful applicants will need to undergo enhanced disclosure and barring service checks and children and adults barred list checks where the applicant will be employed in a regulated activity.
