Georgina Reynolds - Reed Finance is delighted to be partnering with Dudley College on an exclusive basis to appoint a Head of Finance. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Finance will be a key member of the management team. Based at their Dudley campus, the Head of Finance will work closely with the CFO, finance team and budget holders driving performance in all areas.
You will manage a finance team and in the short to medium term, it is imperative that the successful candidate has a hands-on approach with monitoring and mentoring their team to improve results and ensure best practice and reporting controls are in place to ensure that highly accurate monthly accounts and reports are produced.
The Head of Finance will be seen as an ambassador for the business, supporting commercial activities, contributing to leadership decisions, undertaking an active leadership role in the continued success of the company. This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual with regular interaction with key decision makers.
While the primary requirement of the Head of Finance will be to ensure accurate reporting of financial information and adequate financial controls and processes, the successful candidate will have a key input into every aspect of the running of the department including business support functions such as procurement, alongside contractual relationships, and insurance.
