The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will provide senior leadership across technology, digital, data, AI and transformation, ensuring technology is a secure, resilient and strategic enabler of growth, operational excellence and outstanding customer outcomes.

You'll be responsible for:

• Defining and delivering an ambitious Technology, Digital, and AI strategy.
• Leading large-scale digital and business transformation programmes with measurable business outcomes.
• Developing modern technology platforms, enterprise architecture and cloud-based solutions.
• Creating a data-driven organisation through enhanced analytics, governance and management information.
• Driving AI, automation and emerging technology adoption to improve productivity and decision making.
• Providing executive leadership for cyber security, information security, technology resilience and technology risk.
• Building a high-performing, innovative and commercially focused technology function.
• Creating an environment where colleagues embrace technology and are empowered to work smarter

Essential Experience

• Significant senior leadership experience leading technology, digital and transformation teams.
• A demonstrable track record of delivering technology-enabled business transformation and measurable productivity improvements.
• Experience developing and executing digital strategies that improve customer and colleague outcomes.
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, technology platforms, integration strategies and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI, automation and digital innovation programmes at scale.
• Strong understanding of cyber security, operational resilience and technology risk management.
• Experience operating successfully within a regulated financial services environment.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft technology ecosystems including Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Dynamics 365.
• Experience leading technology modernisation or transformation within banking, mutuals, financial services or similarly regulated sectors.
• Relevant professional qualifications alongside a degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
