Join our Finance team as a Regulatory Reporting Analyst and deliver accurate, timely regulatory returns. Own key submissions, apply your prudential reporting expertise and produce clear, well-evidenced outputs ready for approval. Collaborate across Finance, Treasury, Risk and Technology to solve reporting issues, strengthen controls and keep the Society on track. The role You'll own assigned regulatory returns from data sourcing to submission-ready output, delivering to agreed procedures and deadlines. Turning complex data into insight, investigate unexpected movements and drive smarter controls, automation and resilience. What you'll be doing Prepare and coordinate assigned prudential, statistical and other regulatory returns, ensuring submission packs, working papers and review evidence are accurate, complete and delivered on time. Source, validate and analyse regulatory reporting data, maintaining mapping, extraction logic and controlled adjustments, and resolving data-quality issues. Perform reconciliations, analytical reviews and validation checks, independently investigating unexpected movements, challenging explanations and assessing the impact on reported positions. Operate and enhance the regulatory reporting control framework, maintaining a clear audit trail and meeting governance, review, sign-off and escalation requirements. Maintain procedures, process notes, data lineage and supporting documentation, updating them when reporting requirements or internal processes change. Interpret regulatory requirements and changes, complete impact assessments, implementation activity and testing, and lead or contribute to continuous improvement, automation and operational resilience. What we're looking for Relevant experience in regulatory reporting, finance, accounting, treasury, risk or financial services. Strong numeracy and analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex data. The ability to interpret technical requirements, investigate complex data issues and communicate conclusions clearly. A methodical and organised approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work to agreed deadlines. Confidence to challenge supporting explanations, make evidence-based assessments and escalate significant judgements, uncertainties or risks appropriately. An understanding of prudential regulatory reporting, financial control, data quality and the importance of clear governance and audit trails. An accounting, treasury, risk or relevant regulatory reporting qualification, or active study towards one, would be advantageous. What's in it for you?
