St James Academy is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Cleaner to help maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the Academy. Duties include thorough cleaning using correct techniques, safe waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring safe working practices in line with Health and Safety regulations. Training will be provided, and flexibility is essential for covering colleagues when needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and janitorial duties across the Academy using correct techniques.
- Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with regulations.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is well maintained.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in line with Health and Safety regulations.
- Follow safe working practices and participate in training as required.
- Provide coverage for colleagues when needed.
