We are a long-established and growing specialist in the dust & fume extraction industry, delivering bespoke extraction and ventilation systems across a wide range of industrial sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Project / Contracts Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a varied and hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in:

  • Project coordination.
  • 2D/3D CAD design.
  • Site measuring.
  • Ductwork or pipework systems.
  • Mechanical installations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting projects from initial site survey through to installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out site surveys and measurements at customer premises throughout the UK.
  • Producing 2D and/or 3D CAD layouts and installation drawings.
  • Designing ductwork and pipework routes for extraction systems.
  • Preparing drawings and information for installation teams.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal engineers.
  • Assisting with project planning and coordination.
  • Conducting occasional site visits during installations.
Must - Have Qualities
  • Experience in ductwork, pipework, HVAC, ventilation or mechanical engineering projects.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Ability to carry out accurate on-site measurements.
  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar 2D/3D CAD software.
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Good communication skills with clients, contractors, and site teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Be comfortable working on-site and in the office.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK when required.
Desirable
  • Experience in Project/Contract management within the dust and fume extraction industry.
  • Knowledge of fabrication or installation processes.
