We are looking for a motivated and independent individual with a genuine passion for sustainable forest management to support our woodland creation work, from identifying suitable sites and developing plans to coordinating planting, maintenance, and grant applications. You will work closely with colleagues and teams across the Duchy, liaise with farmers, contractors, and external partners, and help ensure projects meet UKFS and UKWAS standards.
You will play a key role in supporting budget forecasting, contributing to Woodland Carbon Code administration, and representing the organisation at industry events such as the Royal Cornwall Show and ICF CPD sessions.
You will bring a forestry-related degree (or equivalent), and if you are close to completing your studies, we still encourage you to apply - appointments can be made subject to successful completion (second-class honours minimum). We are looking for someone professional, driven, and capable of building strong working relationships, with a clear commitment to the Duchy's objectives and a solid understanding of the UK Forestry Standard.
