Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Rural Director and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and partners across the Duchy of Cornwall’s Dartmoor Estate.
  • Engage with local farmers, businesses, Dartmoor National Park Authority, the Ministry of Defence, the South West Peatland Partnership, and others.
  • Run a local team and work closely with colleagues across the Duchy on sustainability, building surveying, and finance.
  • Drive the Duchy’s response to the Dartmoor Vision.
  • Deliver and implement the Duchy’s ambition for a Nature Rich and Net Zero Estate on Dartmoor.
  • Drive peatland restoration, manage budgets and KPIs, and foster strong community relations through the development of a place strategy for Princetown.
