The Head of Communities and Nature will be at the heart of an inspiring vision for a nature-rich landscape that will make a lasting difference for people, place, and planet.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Rural Director and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and partners across the Duchy of Cornwall’s Dartmoor Estate.
- Engage with local farmers, businesses, Dartmoor National Park Authority, the Ministry of Defence, the South West Peatland Partnership, and others.
- Run a local team and work closely with colleagues across the Duchy on sustainability, building surveying, and finance.
- Drive the Duchy’s response to the Dartmoor Vision.
- Deliver and implement the Duchy’s ambition for a Nature Rich and Net Zero Estate on Dartmoor.
- Drive peatland restoration, manage budgets and KPIs, and foster strong community relations through the development of a place strategy for Princetown.
