The Duchy of Cornwall is a future-focused organisation with an ambition to make positive and tangible impact in the places we operate in. We are passionate about delivering transformative change through creating and supporting environmentally and financially sustainable communities and ecosystems.
We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst to support delivery of the Duchy's strategic priorities: healthy communities, net zero, nature, and commercial success. Reporting to the Executive Director of Purpose, this role combines environmental data analysis, estate performance tracking, and management reporting, with a strong focus on turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
You will play a key role in managing the Duchy's carbon inventory across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, working with internal and external specialists to collect and consolidate data across the value chain, including tenant farms. You will analyse and model this data, source additional insights, and track nature-related metrics such as biodiversity, habitat, and water quality using geospatial tools to monitor performance and model improvements. The role also includes producing estate management KPIs, ensuring property data integrity, and delivering regular and ad-hoc reporting to support environmental, social, and financial governance, alongside maintaining historic financial data and supporting benchmarking.
We are looking for someone with a background in environment, business, economics, or finance, and experience in greenhouse gas reporting. You should be confident working with large datasets in Excel and GIS, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a passion for sustainability are essential. Experience with Azure, Power BI, SQL, or MS Access, and knowledge of nature or social reporting and management accounting would be advantageous.
This position would be preferentially based in our Bath office, but is open to candidates who would prefer to be based in London. If you are a detail-oriented data analyst with a passion for sustainability and a drive to turn data into impact, we would love to hear from you!
Closing date: 11th May 2026. We conduct first interviews via Teams and hold second interviews in person. The Duchy of Cornwall is proud to promote a culture of wellbeing and equity. Through our recruitment process, we aim to recruit the very best employees from varied cultural and social backgrounds, with a variety of skills & experiences.
