TÚS Programme is a one year community work placement scheme for people on Jobseekers or Disability Allowance. Tús is for people on Jobseekers Allowance or Disability Allowance.
To be eligible, you must be in receipt of social welfare – see criteria below. Tús jobs are part-time, 19.5 hours per week. When you secure one of our jobs, you come off social welfare and get paid directly into your bank account. The amount is your current social welfare rate + €32.50 per week. The minimum payment is €286.50 per week. (People on DA remain on their DA payment and receive the top up payment only).
To be eligible for the Tús Programme, you have been in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance for at least 12 months and are fully signing on – i.e. not casual signing. You can be eligible without waiting 12 months if you’re on Jobseekers Allowance and:
- are 18 years old
- have official refugee status and Stamp 4
- are of Roma or Traveller background
- payment changed from One Parent Family to Jobseekers Transitional Payment
- payment changed from Illness Benefit to Jobseekers Allowance

Assist with serving and clearing for tea breaks and lunch; general cleaning duties. Friendly, flexible, team player.
