About DualEntry

Founded in 2024, DualEntry is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI startups. At DualEntry, the future of finance is being written today. ERP is one of the largest fintech markets in the world ($220,000,000,000+). Yet, tens of thousands of companies are still using on-premise systems, and the industry has not seen new entrants in more than 30 years. Our AI-native ERP lets accounting teams achieve more in less time. $5M-ARR businesses to NYSE-listed companies trust DualEntry to automate away manual data entry work with AI. We’re finally making the one-person finance team a reality and putting the pain of legacy ERPs from the 1990’s in the past. We operate with urgency and ownership. We move fast.

Why This Role Matters Now

Since starting 18 months ago, we’ve raised $100,000,0000+ from world-class investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, Contrary Ventures and Google Ventures, as well as more than 20 angel investors who’ve built, scaled, and exited some of the most impactful companies of the last decade. We got there by moving incredibly fast and hiring an exceptionally sharp, hard-working and deeply committed team from leading tech and accounting companies - Ramp, Meta, Microsoft, Lyft, PwC, Deloitte, J.P. Morgan, Bloomberg, Sage, Xero and Intuit. And some of us don't have a fancy logo on our resume and are here for a shot to prove ourselves. We’re a small team, growing fast with huge momentum - join early.

As our Solutions Consultant Lead, you’ll sit at the intersection of Sales and Product. You’ll build the SC function from the ground up while actively closing deals hands-on. This is a foundational, critical customer-facing role with high growth and leadership trajectory. This is an intense, hands-on role with full ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar.

Location: Remote with overlap to our New York City HQ (ET)

Where you'll create impact:

  • Build and drive the SC function from the ground up to world-class competition level
  • Serve as DualEntry’s lead solutions consultant in sales conversations, translating complex finance and accounting workflows into clear product solutions
  • Run product demos tailored to each prospect’s workflows, data, and success criteria (expertise in ASC 606 is a plus)
  • Own technical discovery and remove technical objections across integrations, data migration, security, reporting and future functionality
  • Build proof-of-concepts and demo environments for different verticals we sell into
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize the roadmap with customer insights
  • Create and standardize demo assets, playbooks, and technical collateral to scale the Solutions function and train future hires

What sets you up for success:

  • Hardcore work ethic and high agency
  • Exceptional accounting foundation: you’ve worked in audit/public accounting and/or in-house finance at a tech or high-growth company
  • You understand accounting ops end-to-end: close, journal entries, approvals, reconciliations, multi-entity, reporting, controls, etc.
  • Depth in 1-2 complex accounting areas (e.g., revenue recognition, inventory, FX, leases, consolidation)
  • You’ve spent time in the CFO systems stack (ERP, billing, payroll, banking, AP/AR, FP&A, BI) and you can map workflows across tools
  • Comfortable in technical conversations: integrations, APIs, data imports/migrations, security, architecture trade-offs
  • You can run demos and communicate clearly with both CFOs and engineers incl. developing scalable SC processes and playbooks

Nice To Have:

  • CPA
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, QuickBooks Enterprise migrations
  • Familiarity with data transformation, ETL, modeling, SQL
  • Experience designing API integrations or working with middleware tools

  • Your feedback shapes the product directly
  • High-speed culture
  • High-trust environment with high expectations
  • Ambitious mission - ERP is one of the largest B2B software markets in the world ($220bn per year), this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to build the next generation ERP in an industry that has not seen new entrants in 30+ years

How to prepare for a job interview at DualEntry

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If DualEntry uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
