This is a full-time, on-site role located at our Skye studio. The Project Architect will manage and oversee architectural projects through all design phases, from initial concept to project handover. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing design drawings, construction documents, and submittals
  • Leading project teams
  • Ensuring compliance with sustainability criteria
  • Coordinating with consultants, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Architecture and proven experience with design and construction documentation
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) software
  • Experience with Submittals and Project Management in architectural workflows
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and sustainable building practices
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment yet independently manage multiple projects
  • Professional architecture degree (BArch, MArch, or equivalent) and relevant licensure
  • Familiarity with Scottish building regulations and contextual design principles is advantageous
