This is a full-time, on-site role located at our Skye studio. The Project Architect will manage and oversee architectural projects through all design phases, from initial concept to project handover. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing design drawings, construction documents, and submittals
- Leading project teams
- Ensuring compliance with sustainability criteria
- Coordinating with consultants, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements:
- Expertise in Architecture and proven experience with design and construction documentation
- Proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) software
- Experience with Submittals and Project Management in architectural workflows
- Demonstrated knowledge in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and sustainable building practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment yet independently manage multiple projects
- Professional architecture degree (BArch, MArch, or equivalent) and relevant licensure
- Familiarity with Scottish building regulations and contextual design principles is advantageous
