Job Overview The purpose of this position is to provide support for DTP’s sales and operational teams in the form of facilitating stock movements from the DTP warehouse to meet the service requirements of the individual requests. Consisting of, but not limited to: * Deliver and collect items to and from DTP’s logistics centre in Leeds * None-Technical Installations (unpackage and place items to desk) * Provide accurate detail of deliveries that have taken place, signed paperwork for items delivered * Maintain high levels of Health and Safety Standards and legal compliance. Key Tasks * Collect items from DTP Distribution Centre * Checking of orders prior to despatch * Loading of both DTP vehicle * Delivery of items to specified customer location * Communicating where deliveries did not take place, were delayed or items delivered to an alternative location * Always drive vehicle in a safe manner * Work as a member of the Warehouse and Logistics team to meet and where possible exceed the KPI’s outlined by the Commercial and Operations Manager * As a key value of all activities, consider customer services and the DTP business by identifying opportunities to improve services or offerings. * Ensure that all customer proof of deliveries and captured and returned to the Logistics Manager. * Carry out other duties as directed by the warehouse and Logistics Manager. Desired Skills * 3 Years experience. * Experience in dealing with Third Party Suppliers * Strong organisational skills * Full UK Driving License Max 6 penalty points (Over 25yrs old) * Calmness under pressure. * Ability to prioritise and manage several issues and requests in a structured manner. * Ability to work within multiple collaborative teams * Excellent Verbal and written Communication skills Benefits * 25 days annual leave + bank Holiday * Company training and development opportunities * Job Type: Full-time * Pay: £23,809.00 per year (£12.21 per hour with overtime paid after the daily requirement of * 8.5hrs per day. Each working day will be 8.5hrs with 1hr unpaid lunch built in). * There is no requirement to work weekends, although we do work an occasional Saturday which is paid at x 1.5 for the hours worked. * Free parking on-site parking * Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30AM-5:00PM) however flexibility in start and finishing times is a must
