Job Description

The Senior HR Specialist (EMEA) will play a key role in delivering HR operations and initiatives across the region. As a senior individual contributor you will partner with managers and employees to provide expert HR guidance drive consistent program delivery and help foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with strong experience in employee relations HR program administration and site engagement who thrives in a dynamic global environment. Experience with labour regulations in the Netherlands is essential.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Case Management

Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters ensuring fair and consistent resolution.

Manage HR cases investigations and sensitive issues with discretion and compliance for DTN employees across the region.

Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance conduct and employment practices.

Onboarding & Offboarding

Oversee and coordinate onboarding and exit processes across the region.

HR Program Support & Delivery

Support implementation of HR policies and annual programs; customize delivery as needed for local context.

Partner with global HR Business Partners on local execution of business unit-specific talent performance and engagement initiatives.

Liaise with Dutch Workers Council.

Site Engagement

Work with local management to drive site-level employee engagement and strengthen workplace culture.

Partner with local leadership to address site-specific HR needs and initiatives.

HR Administration

Oversee local HR administrative processes such as leave of absence (LOA) management and compliance documentation.

Ensure adherence to local labour laws and company policies across the region.

Qualifications

  • Proven HR experience in a regional or multi-country capacity within EMEA.
  • Must have strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices across multiple EMEA countries, specifically including the Netherlands.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and manager coaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong partnerships.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a global matrixed organization is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel to the DTN office in the Netherlands at a minimum on a quarterly basis.
  • Dutch language capabilities are a plus.

Compensation

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between 53,000 and 62,000 GBP. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors including prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market-competitive variable pay and benefits.
