Job Purpose: The Fleet Audit Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicle inspections are carried out at the agreed time intervals either by themselves on the customer site, or in conjunction with the Network partner. In addition, provide reporting in terms of condition and recommended preventative maintenance actions, such as tyre swaps and tyre changes. The role is vital to ensure vehicle legal compliance whilst working to reduce customer operating costs and achieve ESG goals, reducing any tyre use carbon footprint.
- Completion of customer tyre inspections as per the schedule supplied by the operations support team.
- Produce detailed inspection reports of findings.
- Promote remedial actions and suggestions to the customer and internal DTM departments.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to schedule completion of identified actions.
- Provide support to customers in terms of product knowledge.
- Work in conjunction to support customers, supply network and colleagues in relation to operational requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service levels.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhancement of service delivery.
Skills and ability:
- Commercial tyre knowledge.
- Tyre fitting experience/knowledge is required.
- Be proficient in adhering to scheduled events and coordinating such.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

The applicant must hold a full UK driving licence which will be subject to driving licence checks in line with the company insurance policy.
Additional information: Your normal place of work will be across the customer estate allocated. Travel to Head office will also be required and overnight stays will be essential to successful undertaking of the role.
