DTI is a specialist in innovative downhole technology for the global energy industry. We design and manufacture tools to solve current and emerging challenges for the oil and gas and energy transition sectors, including gas storage, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen storage and geothermal production. We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. DTI is a growing business, and we are looking for someone with the drive and passion to join us on that journey and grow with the role.

Responsibilities

  • Managing accounts payable
  • Processing of invoices, payments and reconciliations in Xero
  • Producing financial reports and supporting month end process
  • Payroll preparation and reconciliations

Knowledge & Skills

  • AAT qualified or part qualified – Study support considered
  • Proficiency in Xero
  • Knowledge of Factory Master or similar manufacturing software – advantage but not essential as training will be provided
  • Experience of payroll preparation
  • Detailed understanding of transactional bookkeeping
  • Computer literacy to include developed skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Excellent verbal, written, telephone, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Ability to multitask, manage variable workloads and prioritise effectively
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
