A well-regarded national law firm with a multi-award-winning legal innovation team is looking for a Senior Business Partner - a senior, dual-facing role that combines internal transformation leadership with hands-on client advisory work.
On the internal side, you’ll be embedded alongside a practice group, working closely with lawyers to identify inefficiencies, design better ways of working, and lead innovation programmes from initial concept through to delivery and measurable impact. A big part of this is GenAI – the firm has an active, ambitious AI programme and you’ll be central to embedding it into legal workflows in a practical, scalable way.
On the client side, you’ll act as a trusted senior advisor to in-house legal teams, helping them rethink how legal services are delivered, adopt new technologies, and implement proven solutions. You’ll be building long-term relationships and genuinely influencing how their legal operations evolve.
The role involves stakeholder leadership at a senior level, roadmap development, resource and project management, and a constant focus on ROI and measurable outcomes. You’ll also play a part in building a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the firm.
A background in legal practice is essential - ideally as a qualified lawyer. The firm wants someone who understands how lawyers think, how legal services are delivered, and has the credibility to influence both internally and externally. Experience in legal operations, innovation or transformation is required, along with confidence working with GenAI and legal technology.
