We’re working with a leading professional services firm to find a Senior AI Integration Engineer for their in-house AI Lab. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on turning AI capability into live, production-grade reality – integrating AI into applications, building reliable backend services, and owning solutions through to deployment and ongoing support.

You’ll design, build and own end-to-end AI solutions - from secure, scalable integration through to deployment and live support. You’ll develop robust backend services and API orchestration to underpin production-grade AI applications, and ensure operational excellence through monitoring, error handling, performance optimisation and Azure-based deployments.

Responsible AI practices are embedded from the start - guardrails, controls, governance – not bolted on at the end. You’ll collaborate across architecture, product and AI teams and provide hands-on coaching to junior engineers.

  • Strong backend engineering with experience delivering production-ready software
  • Hands-on Azure experience – designing and supporting secure, scalable cloud deployments
  • Experience integrating AI or data-driven services into applications or operational workflows
  • Solid understanding of APIs, reliability, monitoring and deployment in live environments
  • Python and SQL in practice
