We’re recruiting an IT Procurement Manager on behalf of a large professional services organisation with a complex, enterprise technology environment. The role sits within a central technology function and is responsible for managing software procurement activity across the business. This includes contracts, renewals, licensing and supplier coordination, working closely with IT, Finance, Legal and Information Security to ensure procurement activity is controlled, compliant and delivered on time.

The role:

  • Manage software contracts, renewals and purchases across the organisation
  • Act as the central point of contact between internal teams and technology suppliers
  • Maintain clear visibility of contracts, costs and renewal dates
  • Coordinate approvals across technology, finance, legal and security functions
  • Ensure procurement activity follows agreed governance and compliance processes
  • Track software licence allocation, usage and compliance
  • Manage purchase orders and supplier onboarding where required
  • Produce clear reporting on contracts, licences and procurement activity

What you’ll need:

  • Background in IT procurement, technology vendor management or contract-focused roles, gained in a structured corporate or professional services environment
  • Confidence working with software and SaaS contracts, including licensing models and enterprise agreements
  • Strong commercial judgement when dealing with suppliers, renewals and negotiations
  • Comfortable operating within formal procurement, risk and compliance frameworks
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across technology, finance, legal, security and the wider business
  • Familiarity with procurement systems such as Workday Strategic Sourcing, alongside contract registers or spend tracking tools
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and proactive in managing deadlines and competing priorities
