We’re working with a forward-thinking housing organisation that’s looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join on an interim basis and take ownership of their business intelligence and reporting function. This is a key role focused on driving data integrity, supporting strategic planning, and improving how performance is tracked, reported, and acted upon. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys both the detail and the bigger picture.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading performance reporting across the organisation – creating dashboards, reports, and insights that drive decision-making.
  • Overseeing Power BI development – including modelling, visualisation, and end-user support.
  • Aligning performance metrics with business plans and strategic objectives.
  • Managing one direct report and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting customer satisfaction survey design, analysis and reporting.
  • Working with data protection and IT teams to ensure compliance with GDPR and robust data governance.
  • Providing performance reports for board and committee meetings.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a BI, Performance or Data Manager role.
  • Strong technical skills with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated, service-driven environment – housing sector experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is an initial 3 month contract, with the potential for extension and we’re looking for someone available for an immediate start.
