We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong negotiation, analytical, and financial skills, a solid grasp of investment processes on both the sell and buy sides, and preferably with experience in the energy or infrastructure sectors. The role is suited for a results-oriented, mission-driven, and resilient individual who thrives in dynamic environments. You will lead end-to-end deal processes, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, support the strategic development of new business opportunities, and contribute to the creation of long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, be highly organized and independent in their work, a committed team player, and ready to embrace an exceptional career opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end acquisition, sale, and joint-venture processes from strategic assessment and valuation to deal execution and closing.
  • Manage collaboration with internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Drive commercial and financial project development in close coordination with business units and other internal functions to ensure project outcomes are aligned with investor expectations.
  • Develop and review financial models, valuations, investment cases, and market analyses.
  • Conduct industry and peer benchmarking to identify new business or partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations, briefs, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with business units and corporate functions across Europe (Ukraine, the Netherlands, and the UK).

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, business development, or corporate M&A, ideally within a large corporate, investment, or energy-related organization.
  • Proven track record of leading full-cycle M&A and joint-venture projects.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to assess financial statements, business performance, and project development and operational risks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Ukrainian.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or similar qualification is an advantage.
