  • Salary range £27000-£29000 per annum with bonus

The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Operations Reconciliation & Control (ORC) group, the Senior Analyst performs various capture, reconciliation, and reporting tasks in a control focused environment. The Senior Analyst communicates directly with clients, agents, and other departments to resolve discrepancies. The ORC Senior Analyst has a high attention to detail and strives for timely delivery. The ORC group is responsible for maintaining the integrity of DTC’s books and records through various monitoring, reconciliation and error resolution activities aimed at ensuring the daily balancing of client, inventory and internal account positions for both cash and securities. Additionally, the ORC team monitors and processes agent related transactions and provides support to the financial services market. We put innovation into action by harnessing AI and emerging technologies to streamline work, improve decision-making, and deliver modern solutions, including workflow apps built on Microsoft Power Apps and related Power Platform capabilities. We are accelerating innovation by putting AI into the hands of employees, encouraging teams to explore, experiment, and turn ideas into real outcomes using tools like Microsoft Copilot and the Power Platform, including Power Apps.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Executes on operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides, able to make suggestions on improving process and efficiency.
  • Processes specialized workflows, resolves exceptions, assists with complex inquiries.
  • Takes ownership of workload, ensures deliverables met in-line with procedures, metrics, and benchmarks; while adhering to critical timeframes; ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Building knowledge of department controls. Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, escalates appropriately.
  • Maintains a steadfast focus on client service, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly.
  • Supports process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency, including the use of basic automation or low‑code tools where appropriate.
  • Participates in team projects and change initiatives that help improve how work is done, contributing ideas, completing assigned tasks, and supporting implementation activities.
  • Builds awareness of new tools, technologies, and ways of working (including AI‑enabled solutions), applying guidance and training to day‑to‑day tasks under supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not essential
