The impact you will have in this role

The Associate Director, CCO Data Governance, will be responsible for leading the governance and enablement of data across the Chief Client Office (CCO). The successful candidate will ensure alignment with enterprise data standards, and enable effective, compliant, and value‑driven use of data to support client‑facing functions and decision‑making. This role will operate at the intersection of business, data governance, analytics, and technology, partnering across relevant enterprise functions to align business needs, validate requirements and ensure delivery of fit‑for‑purpose data assets. Additionally, the CCO Data Office will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define and champion data best practices, improve data literacy and drive innovation including AI adoption.

Your Primary Responsibilities

  • CCO Data Governance: Proactively identify and prioritize data gaps, opportunities, and dependencies, developing actionable roadmaps with business and technology stakeholders. Establish governance frameworks for how CCO data is managed and utilized, including the definition and maintenance of critical data elements, schemas, integration maps, business glossaries, ownership models, and stewardship expectations across key CCO data domains. Establish and chair CCO data governance forums, including decision‑making processes, issue escalation routes, and reporting on progress against the data roadmap.
  • Data Ownership, Risk & Compliance: Act as the business custodian for CCO data, ensuring appropriate ownership and controls, and maintaining alignment with firm‑wide standards. Review and approve proposed changes to data structures, definitions, and usage to ensure data sustainability and integrity. Maintain CCO data quality standards through the implementation of score cards, compliance reporting and remediation processes for priority data sets, with clear accountability for issue resolution and continuous improvement. Oversee data lineage, classification, retention, and access control requirements for CCO data, and support audit, regulatory, and risk review activity as required. Define and enforce data usage standards and KPI definitions to ensure consistency in CCO insights reporting.
  • Data Enablement, Literacy & Change Management: Promote a data‑driven culture and strengthen data literacy across the CCO functions, including Sales, Relationship Management and Marketing, through guidance, training and best practices. Serve as a central point of contact for data‑related questions and issues, and effectively communicate potential data impacts to senior stakeholders. Build and lead a network of data owners and stewards across CCO functions to embed accountability, improve adoption of standards, and accelerate issue resolution. Participate in enterprise governance forums to ensure CCO data considerations are embedded in enterprise change initiatives.
  • AI & Innovation Leadership: Contribute to the CCO's AI enablement strategy, including use case identification, and drive adoption of AI capabilities through training, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with enterprise data, risk, legal, compliance, and technology teams to ensure CCO is contributing trusted data, clear controls, and sustainable operating practices to enterprise AI solutions. Ensure CCO alignment with responsible AI principles, risk, and compliance requirements.
