Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrical Tester for a major data centre project in Camberley. The successful candidate will lead electrical inspection and testing activities, coordinate commissioning support, manage test documentation and oversee safe isolation procedures. The role will also involve supporting client witnessing, energisation and final project handover.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical testing activities across the project.
- Supervise electrical testers and allocate daily testing workloads.
- Carry out and oversee dead and live testing of LV electrical installations.
- Plan testing activities with the electrical management and commissioning teams.
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules and technical specifications.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and energisation activities.
- Coordinate client, consultant and third-party witnessing of electrical tests.
- Produce, review and complete electrical test packs and certification.
- Ensure test results are accurate, traceable and correctly recorded.
- Identify defects, incomplete works and testing non-conformances.
- Coordinate remedial works, retesting and final close-out.
