The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Camberley. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commissioning team, commissioning process, test packs, tagging systems and commissioning programme, ensuring all activities are properly coordinated through testing, completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the commissioning team and specialist subcontractors.
- Manage the overall commissioning process and programme.
- Coordinate commissioning activities across electrical, mechanical, controls and associated systems.
- Manage test packs, commissioning records and supporting documentation.
- Manage and maintain the commissioning tagging and system-status process.
- Track testing progress, outstanding actions, defects and snags.
- Coordinate testing, energisation, isolations and LOTO requirements.
- Ensure systems are ready for testing and commissioned in the correct sequence.
- Chair commissioning meetings and provide progress updates.
- Identify programme delays, commissioning risks and interface issues.
