We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to join a major data centre project in Harlow.

The role is electrically biased, with responsibility for driving the electrical fit-out packages and programme while coordinating closely with the mechanical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical and MEP packages through to completion.
  • Drive electrical fit-out works across white-space/data hall areas.
  • Manage programme, sequencing and progress.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
  • Manage the interface between electrical and mechanical packages.
  • Coordinate with mechanical teams delivering liquid cooling systems.
  • Manage RFIs, technical queries and design coordination.
  • Monitor quality, health and safety and programme performance.
  • Support testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
  • Attend and lead project and coordination meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical or MEP Project Manager.
  • Must have previous data centre or mission-critical project experience, including environments such as laboratories.
  • Strong electrical background and experience delivering electrical fit-out packages.
  • Experience working within white-space/data hall environments.
  • Good understanding of mechanical services and MEP coordination.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and project programmes.
  • SMSTS.
