DT Source are currently seeking experienced Fire Stoppers at Manchester airport.
Responsibilities:
- Installing fire-stopping systems such as:
- Batt and mastic
- Fire-resistant sealants
- Pipe collars and wraps
- Cavity barriers
- Reading construction drawings and fire protection plans.
- Sealing gaps around pipes, cables, ducts, and other penetration.
- Ensuring work complies with UK fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping.
- NVQ in Passive Fire Protection (preferred but not essential).
- FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent accreditation experience advantageous.
- Own tools, PPE, and transport.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
