The work includes migration of live fibre infrastructure, server hardware tasks, and critical changes conducted within planned downtime windows for blue-chip clients.\\n\\nCandidates must be skilled, security-cleared (British passport), and capable of delivering fault-free work in controlled, high-pressure environments where accuracy is paramount.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Perform live fibre migrations, ensuring zero disruption to services\\n\\n * \\n\\n Fibre patching across racks, cabinets, and switches\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support moves, adds, and changes across critical infrastructure\\n\\n * \\n\\n Racking and stacking servers, switches, and network hardware to exact build documentation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Working around scheduled server downtime within secure white space environments\\n\\n * \\n\\n Updating patch records, schematics, and asset logs in real-time\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintaining workspace cleanliness and adhering to all site protocols\\n\\nEssential Requirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n British Passport Holders only (required for security clearance)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Extensive experience in live data centre environments\\n\\n * \\n\\n Skilled in fibre optic handling, patching, routing, and containment work\\n\\n * \\n\\n Comfortable working during planned maintenance windows for live client services\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to interpret patch schedules, layout drawings, and structured cabling standards\\n\\nCertifications Required:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Valid ECS Card – mandatory\\n\\nSkills & Attributes:\\n\\n * \\n\\n High attention to detail, especially with live services\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong awareness of data centre protocols and client expectations\\n\\n * \\n\\n Capable of working independently or as part of a small team\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent documentation and communication skills\\n\\n * \\n\\n Smart, professional appearance suitable for blue-chip client environments\\n\\nWorking Conditions:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Secure live data centre\\n\\n * \\n\\n Duration: 12-month engagement\\n\\n * \\n\\n Shift patterns may include nights/weekends aligned to change control/downtime windows (higher rates paid)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Tools and PPE supplied as required\\n\\nStart Date:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Target start: 2nd – 9th June 2025\\n\\nFor submissions or furthe information please send CVs ASAP
