Electrical Improver in Crawley

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Improver to join our team on a long-term project based in RH10. This role is ideal for an experienced improver with a solid background in commercial or industrial electrical installations and the ability to work to a high standard while supporting qualified electricians on site. Key Responsibilities * Assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems * Installing containment, trunking, conduit, and cable trays * Pulling, terminating, and labelling cables * Supporting first and second fix electrical works * Ensuring work is completed in line with health & safety regulations * Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe * Working efficiently to meet project deadlines Requirements * Previous experience as an Electrical Improver on commercial or industrial sites, specifically DC or laboratory experience * ECS or CSCS card (essential) * Basic hand tools and PPE * Good understanding of electrical installation practices * Ability to follow drawings and instructions * Strong work ethic and reliability * Good communication and teamwork skills What’s On Offer * Competitive hourly rate of £21–£23 per hour (DOE) * Long-term contract with potential for ongoing work * Consistent hours (8–12 hours per day) * Opportunity to gain experience on a large project * Weekend work may be available
