We are seeking a Document Controller to join our team. This role is crucial for managing and organising documentation. You will ensure that all documents are accurate, up to date, and securely stored. This is a key role within the project team. As such, you must possess a strong team ethic, a flexible approach, the ability to work unsupervised, the ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Maintain accurate records of project-related documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Version Control: Ensure that all documents are up to date, properly versioned, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to organise project documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement document control procedures to maintain data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Management: Create, populate & manage a live document tracker specific to the project to record all documents and transmittals.
  • Quality Control: Assess the quality and properties of all incoming and outgoing official documentation.
  • Administrative Support: Proactively manage all aspects of the project office’s day-to-day operations and provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team. Attend project review meetings and report to the documentation manager routinely.
  • Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties.
  • Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company and group policies and procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in document control or project administration.
  • Proficiency in document management software and tools, SharePoint advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented: Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
