We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our operation and play a key role in driving performance, efficiency, and safety.

Shifts: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Location: Thrapston

What will you be doing?

  • Overseeing a section of our warehouse, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the management team in achieving business targets.
  • Leading a team of operatives, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Managing and motivating your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.
  • Training new operatives and supporting ongoing development.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory and stock movement records.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and fostering a culture of safe working.
  • Producing reports, assisting with stock takes, and planning future capacity needs.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.

About You

  • Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Possess a proactive approach, confident in decision making.
  • Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • A forklift licence and knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.
