DSV are recruiting for an Air Transport Planner in Feltham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is well versed and experienced in the Transport sector to join a company committed to providing quality, innovative value and logistics services. As well as performing Operational duties to a high level, various project opportunities will be available.
Role: Air Transport Planner
Location: Feltham (TW14 8NU)
Hours: 40 per week, Mon-Fri. (Overtime Required Weekdays and Sundays at times)
What will you be doing?
- Arranging deliveries and collections across the UK
- Covering a range of movements including for Healthcare, Haz, Dedicated and Standard
- Pricing, invoicing and quoting
- Monitoring live movement updates
- Logging and monitoring KPI performance of Colleagues, departments, and Suppliers
- Executing SOPs and Operational structure
About You
- Previous recent relevant industry experience in Transport
- Good communication and relationship building skills
- Good organisation skills and effective time management
- IT Literate
- Ability to take ownership and accountability
- Ability to function in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekend work, as will be required monthly
