The role involves meeting customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of cargo, in accordance with operational procedures and statutory health & safety requirements, ensuring client satisfaction and company profitability. Key Tasks Timely and effective communication with customers, partners, and internal departments via email and telephone. Monitoring to ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines. Proactive problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise. Resolving credit management queries as necessary. Performing general day-to-day administrative duties. Skills and Competencies Providing PODs to meet customer requirements where necessary. Providing KPI reports both externally and internally as required. Ensuring consignments are rated correctly for accurate and timely invoicing. Ensuring delivery and collection consignments contain correct information. Liaising with operations and overseas offices to meet customer commitments. Updating/verifying customer booking details in the DSV Order Management System. Additional Skills and Competencies Customer-focused with dedication to service delivery. Ability to maintain a positive mindset under pressure and re-prioritize workload. Reliable with strong multitasking and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy. Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner. Knowledge of the freight transport industry.
