DSV is looking for a passionate Learning & Development Assistant to join our HR team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across the UK & Ireland by enhancing skills, driving capability, and supporting a culture of continuous learning.

What will you be doing?

  • Support with conducting training needs analyses in partnership with HR and business leaders.
  • Assist with the design, sourcing, and delivery of high-impact learning solutions—including virtual, in-person, and e-learning programs—focused on personal effectiveness and leadership.
  • Support with creating engaging digital learning content using tools such as Rise, Storyline 360, and Vyond.
  • Manage and maintain our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and excellent user experience.
  • Track and report training attendance, working with managers to resolve any barriers.
  • Coordinate compliance training, including Mandatory Manager Training, AEO, and Aviation Security.
  • Assist with the delivery of in-house training on HR processes and other areas of expertise.
  • Lead or support L&D projects that enhance organisational capability.
  • Maintain training schedules, prepare materials, and ensure accurate reporting for quarterly statistics.

About You

  • Experience within training/learning and development in a coordinator or administrator role.
  • Experienced in Learning Management Systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience designing and delivering both face-to-face and virtual training would be beneficial.
  • Experience creating e-learning content (Articulate or similar tools desirable) would be advantageous.
