DSV is recruiting for a Network Pricing Analyst in London Heathrow. This role will be quoting our overseas offices and agents worldwide while working closely with our UK offices, client retention and sales team to win new business to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company.
What will you be doing?
- Communicate effectively in a professional manner with overseas agents to ensure their quotation requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions.
- Liaise with other DSV/Agents offices in the UK and abroad, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other offices, as required by operational procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely pricing to DSV agent/overseas network offices.
- Collect pricing with approved hauliers/airlines/co-loaders for the transport of cargo across a range of transport modes, confirm availability of equipment and agree prices on an ad‐hoc basis, to maximise cost effectiveness.
- Produce PDF quotations on an ad‐hoc basis with full details of the request outlined, to ensure a smooth and quick turnaround for the client.
- Organise workflow and ensure productivity standards are met alongside data quality being key.
- Liaise with local product and gateway teams to assess market conditions and obtain the best price/service available for our overseas agents.
About You
- Operational knowledge/background in Air, Ocean or both.
- Good analytical skills.
- Preferably Dangerous Goods knowledge.
- Commercial knowledge or background.
- Experience in negotiating with vendors.
- Dealing with and maintaining data quality.
- KPI Aware and problem solving.
- Team player.
