DSV Air & Sea is seeking a proactive, customer‑focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, delivering value‑driven insights, and driving commercial performance.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of key accounts.
  • Develop and deliver strategic account plans aligned to both customer goals and DSV objectives.
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities to increase DSV’s share of wallet.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers and influencers.
  • Deliver consistent communication, reporting, and MyDSV adoption including COâ‚‚/Sustainability features.
  • Act as a senior escalation point, resolving issues quickly in partnership with Branch Management.
  • Conduct high‑quality, data‑driven QBRs and provide monthly market updates.
  • Prioritise face‑to‑face customer interaction to strengthen partnership value.
  • Stay informed about customer operations, industry developments, and market dynamics.
  • Proactively identify challenges and deliver innovative, digital, and sustainability-led solutions.
  • Position DSV as a trusted strategic partner through insight‑based value creation.
  • Track and analyse revenue, GP, and shipment trends.
  • Provide clear, actionable performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Product, and Operations teams to shape competitive solutions.
  • Lead and support RFQs and prepare for upcoming tenders.
  • Work closely with Branch/Regional Managers, TM, Product, and BU specialists.
  • Support smooth handover of accounts from Sales to KAM.
  • Review processes, address complaints, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with data quality, reporting, and NPS/CRP standards.
  • Promote digital tool adoption (MyDSV, EDI, SCMS, KPI dashboards).
  • Stay updated on market trends, DSV products, and emerging technologies.

About You

  • Proven background in a client-facing management role within supply chain or a related sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, and account development strategies.
  • Proficient in English and skilled in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A collaborative team player able to work effectively across functions, cultures, and geographies.
  • Highly organised, structured, and confident in decision making, presentations, and working with deadlines.
