Role: Telesales Executive – Air & Sea

Location: Manchester

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30

We are recruiting a Telesales Executive to join our Air & Sea division and support national growth across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, customer engagement, and building commercial success in a fast-paced, global logistics environment. You will focus on generating new business, managing small to medium accounts, and presenting DSV’s Air & Sea solutions — primarily through phone and online interactions.

What will you be doing?

  • Generate new business leads for DSV Air & Sea, with a particular focus on SME customers.
  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to identify, qualify, and convert prospects.
  • Prepare, follow up, and close quotations for Air & Sea transport solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of smaller accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and retention.
  • Develop tailored proposals and virtual presentations showcasing DSV’s capabilities.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless onboarding and handover of new customers.
  • Share qualified leads and support wider sales initiatives across the organisation.
  • Complete weekly reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and performance KPIs.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with DSV policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

About You

  • Experience in telesales, sales, customer service, or inside sales (logistics background an advantage).
  • Knowledge of Air & Sea freight is desirable, but full training will be provided for strong commercial profiles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Confident, proactive, and comfortable making outbound calls with a hunter mindset.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a wider team.
