Key Responsibilities

- Engage origin offices and carriers regarding forwarding of shipments.
- Registration of shipments on CW1.
- Following up on carrier invoices and ANF's.
- Checking vendor invoices and raising queries as required.
- Opening shipment files and documents assembly.
- Completing key updates and milestones in CW1.
- Update and maintenance of lane specific rates monthly.
- Shipment status reporting as required.
- Assisting the client lead with ad hoc projects and reporting.
- Processing ocean import quotes.
- Meeting KPIs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in freight forwarding and controlling.
- Matric (essential).
- Advantageous to have industry-level qualification or tertiary qualification.
- Computer packages: Office 365 (Teams, OneNote, Forms), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Knowledge of current INCOTERMS 2010.
- Knowledge of international logistics.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous direct client‑facing experience.
- Automotive experience.
- National Certificate in logistics and supply chain management.
