We’re looking for a Project/ Continuous Improvement Specialist to support our UK & Ireland Customs function. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and operational processes—and wants to grow within a specialist logistics environment. This is not a traditional customs brokerage role. Instead, you’ll focus on enhancing the systems, reporting, and workflows that enable our customs teams to operate efficiently and make data-driven decisions.
What will you be doing?
- Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and operational reporting
- Monitor and troubleshoot reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy and reliability
- Support users with data, dashboards, and system queries
- Act as a key contact for customs systems and tools, supporting issue resolution and testing changes
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with customs teams to translate operational needs into practical system and reporting solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, workflows, and data quality
- Supporting customs operations across UK (75%) and Ireland (25%), with potential exposure to wider European markets
- Working closely with operations, management, IT, and finance stakeholders
About You
Essential
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Power BI
- Comfortable working with data, KPIs, and operational processes
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills
- Curious, proactive, and confident challenging existing ways of working
- No requirement for deep customs declaration knowledge—training and exposure provided
