Main Purpose of the role

DSV are recruiting for a freight Forwarder to provide an efficient and proactive service to all key account customers, overseas and related service providers. You will be dealing with all aspects of air operations and will manage customer expectations and look to make continuous improvements.

What will you be doing?

  • Receive and process all customer orders through various platforms and processing these in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out for each Key Account.
  • Produce and maintain accurate KPI and financial reports, tracking all activity.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and electronically with customers & team members.
  • Provide help and advice to support customers.
  • Continuous reviewing and improvement of customer service processes within the department.
  • Assisting the Team Leader to capture and analyse department KPI’s.
  • Work closely with the team and the Administration Department to ensure financial metrics (unbilled, EICI, etc) are met.
  • Ensure that once all shipment processes are completed that all expected costs are in line with expected profit levels.

About You

  • Previous experience in airfreight and knowledge of air industry.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and manage high workloads in challenging situations and meetings deadlines.
  • Ability to make considered and consistent decisions.
  • Fast and accurate data entry.
  • Intermediate level of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
